Since July 2024, Ruta del Este is officially responsible for the administration and comprehensive management of the Eastern Pan-American Highway, in the section that runs from Pacora, in the province of Panama, to Yaviza, in the province of Darién, including the road easement. . This responsibility includes supervising and regulating any work carried out by third parties within this space, guaranteeing the safe and efficient operation of the road. The Easement Works Manual defines the steps and requirements necessary to request permits, execute works and complete interventions with quality standards that protect both users and the infrastructure.
